Which capacitor series fits solar inverter applications?
Solar string and central inverters use screw-terminal aluminum electrolytic capacitors on the DC bus (typically 450V to 700V rated, 1,000μF to 50,000μF per cap depending on inverter power) with long-life 105°C series giving 100,000+ hours at 40°C ambient. Snap-in caps cover MPPT input filtering and auxiliary supplies. We commonly quote multi-cap banks pre-balanced to spec.
What capacitor is right for EV DC fast charging?
EV DC fast chargers (50-350 kW) use screw-terminal aluminum electrolytic capacitors on the DC link (450-700V), often paired with film capacitors for high-frequency ripple, plus supercapacitor banks for ride-through and grid support. IATF16949 / AEC-Q200 qualified parts are required for automotive supply chain — we ship documented lots with full traceability.
